“The law of attraction: You don’t attract what you want. You attract what you are.”

Law of Attraction aka Vibe attracts Tribe By Sean Stroud

After the most random of happenings, I was asked by Clare (thank you!), "Would you like to do a guest article about social changes and blending it with writing?"

Challenge accepted.
My name is Sean Stroud, the author of a children's book called Dog's Advice, Dog being an old man with a 4ft beard and one leg which is probably why the book has received no critical acclaim due to false advertising I'm assuming. I mentioned my belief that it's easier to build strong children than it is to repair broken adults and me trying to address social issues in my writing.

After a bit of thought I realized I addressed this in a YouTube video of my interview on Saint FM. (Ooh fancy) I then thought, why not address the broken adults, me being one of them. I did mention to Clare that she may not like my views, you may not either but I also know that not everyone will or is supposed to i.e. the key to failure is when you try to please everybody.

In my 39yrs on this planet, 22 residing in the UK with my unrecognised British blood, I am now only learning fully what my book's message alludes to i.e. the law of attraction.
What I say next may lose a lot of people as I'm going to talk about energy that is not supplied by British Gas but the metaphysical(?) I think it's called. I also say though, you don't have to believe for something to be true. Anywooo, I was recently involved in an on-off relationship, co-dependent the more I learn.

My eyes were opened when I met up with an old flame that visited the UK after many years and realising that I was in the presence of the same energy as all my exes.
Why was I attracting insecure people, could they all be the problem?

Now as a logical thinker(I know I'm talking about energy), probability says that this is near impossible and the only common denominator in the equation is me. Harsh reality let me tell you but freeing and necessary for the cycle to end. Change me for the better, become whole and attract better. Sounds simple but that means confronting insecurities, asking questions like, "would I want me on my team?"

Which brings you to, "what do I bring to the table?"

You then go through questioning character, strength's, weaknesses, etc. and the answer was yes, I'd have me on my team. Now knowing my worth, what energy are you willing to accept or allow around you, that being my responsibility. (Tip: want to get a glimpse of what people are like, see who they surround themselves with).

This is open to debate but what I regard as good people now is defined by their character and morals and easily discerned by their actions. Small actions like how do they treat the waiter/ess or cleaner, do they let people off the bus/train before jumping on, if they found a phone would they keep it for themselves or try to return it etc.

With this I'm adding to the laws of the universe and the Bible's, "do unto others as you would have others do unto you." will treat people as they treat others which then puts responsibility on everyone to up their vibe by seeing themselves. (Dog's Advice plot twist)
So my point, using myself as a case study for myself, “Vibe attracts Tribes”.

I am in this process of raising my vibe and it's working, me writing this is the law of attraction in action with new good people arriving.

So in closing, you may not change THE world but you may just change YOUR world. #BeTheChange #partofthesolution

More about this week's writer Sean Stroud

I believe in the saying, "it's easier to build strong children than it is to repair broken adults."
Writing is the medium I'm using to fulfill the responsibility, I feel, we all have to those that will continue to be here long after we've left i.e. it takes a village.
